RayTech Software (Demo) Version 4.0 (40Mb download) - to view instructions on viewing GRIB
files with RayTech software click here and
here. The demo version of the
RayChart electronic charting program displays various GRIB formats.
Supported GRIB formats are wwave3 wind, GFS wind, surface temp, surface
pressure, sea surface temperature. The Demo version does not support all
the navigation features but it displays GRIB files without problems.
Note that the internal date of the GRIB file must coincide with the
computer date for RayChart to display the GRIB file. This "feature"
makes it inconvenient to look at old weather files. Bzip2 formatted GRIB
files are not supported so you will need to use this program in
conjunction with one of the unarchivers listed below.

Deckman (Demo) Version
6.07 (9Mb download) by Sailmath,
Inc. is an electronic charting program that
also displays GRIB files. This demo version of supports Wind (wwave3 and GFS), surface
pressure, surface temperature, and current. Although the demo version does not support
all the navigation functions it displays GRIB files perfectly.
DfW 6.0.7 incorporates our WeatherNet
technology allowing you to order, download, and display your GRIB files
all within the same application.
Mime Decoders
E-Mail attachment decoders for users with limited functionality E-Mail
client software. If your E-Mail program does not support attachments then
use fcore32.exe to extract GRIB files from your e-mails.
GMN Tools
Bzip2 Archivers/unarchivers
GMN GRIB files are compressed in bzip2 format. Unless you are using
GRIB Explorer, WindPlot, or MaxSea to display GRIB files
you will need to download one of the following programs to unarchive the
compressed files.
